I’ve been building brands for as long as I can remember.
Back in the junior high cafeterias, I was selling snack pies and cakes just to make a quick buck. A few years into college, I was trying to make a difference by selling legal limit breathalyzer key chains outside of Pittsburgh’s most popular bars & nightclubs while living out of my parents’ basement.
All the while, I was building best-in-class websites while helping a small recreation equipment company grow their search engine rankings to national status. A few months shy of 23, I made my first million working in the real estate industry only to never see a cent of it thanks to a business partnership gone wrong.
Still, I had a drive to keep pushing forward no matter what the odds stacked against me. I started again, once more at the very bottom, with a mission to take myself to the top and do what I love most, helping others find their voice.
In 2001, I founded what would become my signature company with Eyeflow. Back then it was just a simple, one-man SEO consulting company. While my competitors insisted on deploying black hat tactics to cheat the system and climb to the top of search results, I knew that quality digital marketing relied on high-quality story-driven content marketing.
Call it a hunch that paid off, but in just one short year Eyeflow owned the SEO game in Pittsburgh. Three years later and we made it out of the basement and into an office in Pitsburgh’s historic Southside. Two years after that, we were collecting Fortune 500 companies as clients by the dozens.
Now I’m 34. I’ve been the young tech startup guy. I’ve seen what it takes to build a brand from the ground up. I’ve experienced firsthand what failure feels like. I’ve also experienced success beyond anything imaginable. I’ve built, backed and invested in more businesses and trades along the way that I could remember.
In short, I’ve lived the life I could never dream of attaining after gaining and losing that first million over ten years ago. And now I want to show you the way.
That’s why I started PhilLaboon.com in the first place. It’s been said that I have “a natural at creating influence for myself and others around me.” Discover for yourself how I can help you reinvent yourself and your brand on the way to achieving success you’ve only dreamed of.
